Description: I happened to be in NYC for the 2004 Republican National Convention, before I moved to the city. I took this while walking around one evening, admiring the snipers and the commuters frustrated out of their way. In the foreground, a garbage truck. Behind that, Madison Square Garden patriotically gussied up. Behind it all, the sky.
